About Me

I believe all women deserve access to trusted medical information regardless of limitations of time, transportation, work, childcare, or other circumstance. Through my work, I strive to help women feel as if they belong to a trusted community of support and have accessible health information that fits into their schedule.

My Story

For over 20 years, I have had a front seat to the evolution of American healthcare from local, independent physician offices to corporate healthcare giants. After 10 years of private practice and corporate medicine, I formed my own company and delivered healthcare services that included clinic, hospital, and operating room work across the country. I witnessed firsthand the challenges women face in accessing appropriate healthcare as I practiced and consulted in 10 states in the West, Northeast, and Midwestern United States.

I interviewed women and healthcare professionals identifying barriers to health care. The #1 complaint of patients was not having enough time to talk to their physicians. Patients trusted their practitioners but felt their best—and sometimes only—access to information was during the office visit. Medical professionals felt the greatest barriers to comprehensive care were a patient’s access to transportation, work and family responsibilities that sacrificed a patient’s ability to come to appropriate appointments, and patients not utilizing all hospital and outpatient services.

I started working with entrepreneurial professionals outside of medicine to look for solutions. Learning from copywriters, podcasters, and other online content creators, I realized that an online platform in healthcare can support health consumers with trusted information, instruction, and community without the stress of time and money normally required in the traditional health care system.

Through this platform, I want to bring healthcare back to a more intimate relationship between a physician and health consumer. I want to help you take control of your medical story, and create a physician-consumer relationship that is much more accessible than the traditional physician-patient relationship.
